Are you celebrating 7 Years of Love? Did you know that traditionally a copper gift is given for a 7th year wedding anniversary gift? Celebrate your 7th anniversary with a copper plaque that represents your family of four!
This 7 Year Happy Anniversary Cold Cast Copper Plaque is sculpted with a family of four on it! It's a perfect gift to give especially if your husband, wife or friends who have two children The family figures can be personalized by choosing the genders of the children. As you check out, you can choose between 2 boys, 2 girls, younger boy/older girl or younger girl/older boy (please choose "Custom" if the ages of your children do not match the sample of two children).
**I am now able to customize the number of children on the plaque!! Please choose the option with the "Custom" and leave me a note with the ages and genders of the children to be added.
HOW I MADE IT: I sculpted the original design out of clay. Then I made a mold of the original sculpture. I add the metal powder to the mold and bind it together with resin (this is called cold casting because the metal is cold and not heated). Finally, I wax and polish the sculpture.
I use real copper metal powder mixed with resin to create the sculpture casting. Because it is cold-casted, the sculpture is lighter than a solid metal piece which makes it ideal for shipping.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Our mission is to create sculptures that you connect with and will always remind you of a special time in you and your family's life.

Sculptor
My artwork is inspired by life, love, and above all, family. After getting engaged, I was greatly inspired by the idea that when a couple gets married two become one. This comes to life as the figures I sculpt are formed into a connected image. Once I became a mother, I began to add children to my artwork. This theme of connectedness continues by creating the children around the parents all emerging together.
My original designs are sculpted out of clay. I then make a mold of the clay sculpture. Depending on the size of the sculpture, it will be cold-cast with bronze, aluminum, or copper ("Cold-Casting" is the process of mixing metal powder with a resin to create castings that give the appearance of solid metal) or cast in cement and painted with a bronze metal coating (ground bronze metal suspended in an acrylic binder). Finally, the sculpture is finished by polishing and waxing by hand. This intense finishing process reveals the metal’s shine and highlights the details.
I began sculpting professionally over 20 years ago. In the early 2000s I became famous for my polymer clay portrait sculptures and wedding cake toppers. The five-foot life-size "bride’s cake" (where the polymer-clay-sculpted head and shoulders emerged from a six tiered cake) brought me international acclaim! My work has appeared on CNN, Inside Edition, countless news stories and in Inside Weekly Magazine. I have appeared on HGTV's That's Clever!, and my art dolls have been published in several national magazines. Currently, I have sculptures on display in the Georgetown Sculpture Tour, the Cedar Park Sculpture Garden and in the Bee Cave Sculpture Park.
